We offer 6 seminar and event rooms at the Parkhotel Pörtschach in Carinthia on Lake Wörthersee, all of which have natural light and an exit to the outside. The retro style of the hotel also prevails here, and all rooms are equipped with modern seminar technology.
We have already hosted a wide variety of events in our seminar and conference rooms, from EU conferences and exhibitions to car presentations and dinners for 450 people.
Our hotel restaurant with 612 m², the Palme event room and the spacious hotel lobby are other popular venues for events and receptions.
Salon Velden
The Salon Velden is located on the same level as the hotel lobby and the hotel restaurant. The special furnishings in this room reflect the quality of the 1960s architecture. The adjoining lakeside terrace makes this a very popular seminar room with our customers.
Salon Carinthia
The Salon Carinthia is characterised by its access to the beautiful hotel park. The small terrace is ideal for a relaxing break in the fresh air. This seminar room is also located on the same level as the hotel lobby and the hotel restaurant.
Wörthersee I & II
The Wörthersee seminar room is our largest seminar room and is located on the beach promenade level. Thanks to its flexible design with a partition wall, a wide variety of events are possible here. The large window front offers a direct view of Lake Wörthersee and makes the room very bright and friendly.
Event room Palme with lakeside terrace
The Palme event room with lakeside terrace was given a gentle facelift in 2018. The ‘swinging sixties’ flair so typical of the hotel has been preserved, giving this location a certain exclusivity. The event room is often booked for company celebrations, receptions and Christmas parties.
Hotel restaurant & Imperial
The hotel restaurant is a very special place. Its elevated position on the beach promenade offers a breathtaking view and the lake is literally ‘at your feet’. Spacious and open-plan, the hotel restaurant was renovated in 2013 in keeping with the style of the hotel. The ‘Imperial’ area is an extension of the hotel restaurant and a link to the hotel lobby.
