What are the included services?
- Bathrobe & bath towels during your stay.

When can I check into my room on the day of arrival?
Your room is available from 3 pm.
When must the room be vacated on the day of departure? We kindly ask you to leave your room by 10 o'clock.
We ask you to vacate your room by 11 o’clock.
What are the cancellation conditions?
In the period from 06.03. – 28.05. & 07.09. – 20.11.2025:
- Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 1 day before arrival.
In the period from 29.05. – 26.06. & 21.11.2025 – 03.01.2026:
- Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 5 days before arrival.
- Up to 3 days before arrival 50% of the room price will be charged.
- Up to 1 day before arrival 80% of the room price will be charged.
In the period from 27.06. – 06.09.2025:
- Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 14 days before arrival.
- Up to 7 days before arrival 50% of the room price will be charged.
- In the 7 days before arrival 80% of the room price will be charged. Always valid:
- In the event of no-show and early departure, the full room price will be charged.
Is there cancellation insurance?
We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance when you make your European reservation.
Is there a dress code?
- We ask you to enter our hotel restaurant in appropriate clothing (in the evening: men with long trousers and closed shoes).
- For our New Year’s Eve gala – elegant evening wear.
What catering can I book?
- Without catering – Once the reservation has been completed, catering can only be booked on request and at the following price: breakfast € 39.00 per person/day & dinner € 54.00 per person/day.
- Breakfast – Once the reservation has been made, catering can only be booked on request and at the following price: dinner € 54.00 per person/day.
- Half board (dinner and breakfast)
Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
Smoking is permitted in all outdoor areas such as the lakeside terrace, beach and hotel entrance area with park as well as on the room balconies! Smoking is prohibited in the indoor areas and in all rooms.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are only allowed on request and only in certain rooms. For your pet we charge € 25,- per night (without food), a woollen blanket and a feeding bowl are provided. Without a written reservation for your pet, we charge a final cleaning fee of € 200. We ask for your understanding that dogs are not permitted in the restaurant.
What are the opening hours of the wellness area?
Indoor pool from 7 am – 8 pm
Fitness room from 7 am – 8 pm
Saunas from 2 pm or 4 pm – 7.30 pm
The opening hours of the saunas vary depending on the season.
Can I still visit the private beach on the day of departure?
If you want to go to the beach again after your check-out, we recommend the public lido in Pörtschach.
Is there no air conditioning in the rooms/suites?
We have a very environmentally friendly lake water cooling system, which cools the room temperature in our newly renovated guest rooms down by 3-4 degrees. This is not air conditioning.
Where can I park my car?
- Our hotel car park is available free of charge for our hotel guests.
- We have 4 garage spaces – € 25.00 per garage/night – please book in advance.
Do you have e-charging stations?
Yes, we have 4 e-charging stations (type 2, AC, 11KW) in our hotel car park.
Please note that you must unplug your vehicle once it is fully charged, as the costs will continue.
Where can I park my bicycle?
Bicycle boxes are available – € 12.00 per box/night – please book in advance.
Can I have my laundry washed?
We are happy to take your laundry to the dry cleaners for a fee. You will find a price list for this in your wardrobe – takes approx. 2 working days.

Are there bath towels in the room?
Bath towels are provided in the room in a beach bag. One beach towel is provided per adult.
Families
Is there an extra bed for children?
We offer children up to 2 years a cot and from 3 years an extra bed or a pull-out couch.
Is there a kettle?
We are happy to provide you with a kettle in your room during your stay.
Is there baby equipment available
We offer a cot, changing mat, nappy bin and bottle warmer for our youngest guests.
Is childcare available?
- On public holiday weekends and in July and August we offer childcare free of charge.
- Alternatively, the “Seekids” sports camp can be attended for an additional charge.
What is there for children in the restaurant?
- A high chair is available in the restaurant for our youngest guests.
- Whether big or small, we offer children’s meals.

Sustainability
What is being done in terms of sustainability?
- We cool our rooms with an efficient water cooling system that uses lake water from the depths of Lake Wörthersee. This allows us to achieve a pleasant cooling effect, but no more than 15° C cooler than outside.
- We generate some of our own electricity with a photovoltaic system and offer e-charging stations.
- On hot days, our roller blinds go down automatically. The room stays cool and the cooling system requires less electricity.
- We ask guests to be careful with resources – not to leave water running and a bath towel does not have to end up in the washing machine after every use.
Seminars
How is the room hire fee calculated and what is the minimum turnover?
We have calculated our room hire with a minimum turnover. The final number of participants is multiplied by the seminar flat rate booked. If this expected turnover exceeds the minimum turnover, the room hire fee is cancelled completely. If this expected turnover is less than the minimum turnover, the difference will be charged as room hire.
Can I request a specific room and is there a guarantee that this room will be allocated to me permanently?
You are welcome to make a room request, but we cannot guarantee it. Our events department allocates rooms according to availability and the individual requirements of our customers.
Is it possible to book a seminar or event without a seminar package?
We only offer our seminar rooms in combination with one of our suitable seminar packages. We ask for your understanding that this is not possible with us.
Can I book a seminar room if I would like to use catering from an external service provider?
We ask for your understanding that this is not possible with us.
What options are available for a supporting programme and can I also book this through the hotel?
You can find ideas for your social programme here. We will be happy to put you in touch with the relevant contact person, but please get in touch with them directly.
Is it possible to hold the social programme in the hotel park or on the hotel's own beach?
This is generally possible, but varies depending on availability and the desired supporting programme. The events department will allocate you a suitable area.
What options do I have as an organiser when booking rooms?
- Option 1: The room booking is handled directly by the organiser with a room list.
- Option 2: The room booking is made by the participants themselves via our website. You will receive a suitable link for further communication with your participants.
Can I book the entire hotel exclusively?
Depending on availability and only on early request, it is possible to book our hotel exclusively for your event.
Is it possible for my participants to arrive in company?
This is possible on prior request and at special rates.
Is it possible for my participants to book an arrival the day before or an extra night?
Depending on availability, it is possible to book an arrival the day before or an extra night at special prices. Please enquire about this in good time.
Is there a free car park?
A free car park is available for overnight hotel guests. There are two options for all day seminar guests:
- free parking at the railway station (5 minutes’ walk)
- or the paid municipal car park (€ 5.00 per day/car – as of 2025)
Celebrations
What is the capacity of the hotel?
In our ‘Palme’ function room, which has its own bar, dance floor, good sound system and beautiful lakeside terrace, we can cater for 60 – 120 people.
If it is a smaller group, our hotel lobby is of course also available with an adjoining lakeside terrace for a nice meal (not exclusive).
And of course you can also hire the entire hotel exclusively at certain times.
Do you need to have a hotel guest or room booked to hold a wedding at your hotel?
Yes, 50% of the wedding party must sleep with us. The wedding couple is invited to spend the wedding night in a beautiful suite.
Is there a rehearsal dinner?
Yes, we are happy to organise a rehearsal dinner for the wedding couple (2 people) for a fee. If the wedding is booked with us, the amount will be deducted from the total bill.
How long can we celebrate, when is closing time?
The closing time in the “Palme” function room is 1am. After that, a flat rate of € 72,- per employee and hour will be charged.
How long can you play outside?
Whether live music or DJ via the sound system – until 10 pm. Indoors until closing time at one o’clock.
