Are you looking for a mandatory internship in summer (May, June, July, August) 2026 and are currently attending a tourism school or have you always wanted to take a look behind the scenes of a hotel kitchen?
Then you are perfect as an intern and welcome to our long-standing team at the Parkhotel Pörtschach!
Our traditional Parkhotel Pörtschach 4*S, with its 1960s design, impresses above all with its unique location directly on Lake Wörthersee. We welcome young couples, families, seminar and business guests as well as long-standing regular guests. Our guests not only enjoy the view of the landscape, but also the culinary delights in our own hotel restaurant with lakeside terrace. Our hotel also offers a wellness area and its own beach with a beach bar.

Your tasks
- You will have the opportunity to work with experienced top chefs and a large team.
- Your workplace will be a fully equipped catering kitchen – you will get to know everything from cold stores to the patisserie.
- You will be able to let off steam creatively and culinary in the support and preparation of our dishes.
- Gain your first professional experience or put what you have learned into practice – all this is possible with us.
- We will support you in your development and try to encourage you individually – perhaps you will learn.

What you can look forward to with us
First step towards independence
You can get a room in the staff house (2-3 bed room) and perhaps make friends for life.
Culinary full board
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are free 7 days a week, leaving you with your entire salary for leisure activities.
Fair pay
Of course, your work and commitment must not go unrewarded. We pay you on time – and for returners we offer remuneration according to the collective agreement.
Self-employment
You take a step towards independence and can earn your own money with us.
Wörthersee Team Card
You will receive the Wörthersee Team Card from us, which entitles you to a variety of discounts in the region (lido, boat trips, pyramid ball and much more).
Free time
If possible, you will work through shifts and have regular working hours. This allows you to plan your free time precisely.
