Hotels and the 1960s, a love story – just think of films such as “The Sweet Life of Count Bobby”, “The White Horse Inn on Lake Wolfgang”, ‘Mariandl’ or “Happy End on Lake Wörthersee”. Although these sugar-sweet cliché films hardly depict reality, they do convey a basic feeling of the time: departure.
